  2. I’m loving these sugar cane press shots. Not knowing much about that process, I’m looking at these photos trying to figure out what role each part plays.

    • Thamks so much. It was pretty ingenious. Steam powered, turning series of gears that turns the big drive wheel, sugar cane is pushed between the rollers, cane is chrushed, the juice is collected in vats below, the processes thought boiling to remove sugar.
