When I’m out taking photos people often stop and ask what it is that inspires me or what I’m taking a picture of. I have to admit that I just love nature and I see things in the detail and texture of the bark of an old tree, their limbs interwoven with their leaves, and I have a tendency to take a lot of those types of shots. So here’s another one of those. I took this primarily for the textures and although this isn’t as sharp as I would’ve like it to be, it still shows a lot of those great details. It was also shot in Holland on the path into the field. This particular field lies some 20 feet below the level of the canal which runs alongside. Gave me a strange feeling to look up and see the boats traveling along high above where you’re standing.
Taken on a recent trip to Holland with the Nikon N50 and Kodak Tri-X. Developed in Xtol 1:1 Scanned from negative.
Enjoy and have a great day.
