During these grey December days it’s nice to look back at some shots we managed to get the one day that it was beautiful Florida weather. Here’s some more of the Florida Woods shots with both the Holga 120N and the Adox Golf 63.
The next image was shot by Marks while we were traipsing deep into Bulow woods. He used the Adox Golf 63 and Ilford FP4 film. If you look very carefully you will see me (Joey) dwarfed by these wonderful pines, oaks, palm trees and palmetto bushes.
The following is a shot of this lovely little creek deep in the woods. Very dark conditions even though it was a bright sunny day. The light really filters very marginally in through the dense canopy of trees.
This was shot with the Holga 120N. I can see now that we’re going to have to add some more tape to take care of the extra light leakage at the top of the frame. This plastic camera obviously expands and contracts with the changing temperatures and that day it was cool, therefore, it had contracted allowing more light to leak in. A little light leaking in is fine and I can live with that but this was a little bit too much. I do love the vignetting though. What do you think?
