Happy Tree Tuesday everyone.
I’ve been searching through images trying to find a complete tree to post but most of the trees that we photograph are so huge that it’s almost impossible to get the entire tree in the frame. So until I can find a smaller tree, I’m going to have to go with a partial. Here is my “Leaning Tree”
This image is another from the batch we’ve been working on in the dark room. It always amazes me how resilient these trees are when against all odds they keep living and growing and even serving as a host for the ferns growing on their limbs.
This was scanned from the silver gelatin print which was bleached back to knock down the highlights, sepia toned and then selenium toned. This process provides us with the tones you will see more and more often from us.
Taken with the Mamiya 645 Pro TL, 80 mm Mamiya Sekor 1:2.8 lens, film was Ilford HP5 @ 200 developed in Xtol 1:1.
Have a great Tree Tuesday everyone. 🙂
