We are off to the darkroom to do so more toning and to test a few different processes we have cooked up. The chemicals are mixed and waiting and the only thing that’s missing right now is the two of us.
Here’s a great close up of the naked wood of the old oak tree taken by Marks. It’s fascinating how the wood grain takes on different shapes and forms. Lots of lovely texture which lends itself so well to our type of monochromatic photography.
Taken using the Mamiya C330, 65 mm F35 black lens using Ilford HP5 developed in D76 at 1:1. We printed this on Arista EDU Ultra VCFB in Ethol LPD 1:3 split toned with sepia and selenium.
