    • I hear you bulldog. We get those same high temperatures and then high humidity to boot!!! Makes for a very uncomfortable time. Luckily right now it’s nice and cool but the mozzies prevail and are persistent in their pursuit for blood. Thanks so much for the visit and the lovely comment. Enjoy the rest of the day 🙂

  3. SHOCK! You actually posted in color! It does give an interesting look into diversity of the area. Also loved the shots from both perspectives. You get into some different spots to get just the right angle on things, but you both have a knack and the eye for it. We so enjoy your work!

    • Ha ha Sis. Very funny!!! I just thought it would be fun to show some action of the dirty work we get into sometime. The woods are soggy and muddy so the waterproof boots do come in handy. We get to go where no one else (except the wild hog and deer) go!!! Thanks sis

  4. Thanks for the tour of the Bulow Woods, Joey and Marks! These colour photos just prove again that a camera in the right hands is a powerful weapon 😉 . I’m sure your new equipment will bring you, and us, much enjoyment. Enjoy the weekend dear Culvers!

  5. Wow, 25-35 lb, no wonder you switched to lighter gear! It does have a very different look from your b&w photos. I like the reflections in the swamp in the lower left image.

    • Thanks very much Jacki. This getting older stuff is for the birds and the resulting aches and pains forced the decision. We are having fun with the alternative processes. Trial and error so far but some successes. It’s good to be back in the darkroom. Have a great Sunday
