Joey and I hiked the Nottely Dam Road Trail. The colors are quite impressive. The wind was blowing pretty hard and the temperature was 34 º F. But it was a fun outing. This was taken on the road leading to the Dam.
These are images from our excursion with our good friend and guide Stephan.
The falls are the Rabun County waterfall named Minnehaha and the rapids are of the Tallulah River ( the river where parts of it were used to film the movie- “Deliverance”).
Well after a year of some very trying times we’re back. 2016 ended with our having to deal with a very bad Hurricane. After dealing with severe damage and a lack of help we decided to move. We have moved to Union County, Georgia USA., the move and all that goes with it, (the selling of old and buying a new property), was quite taxing on us. All this time our photography had to take a back seat.
We now have a beautiful mountain home in the Great Smoky Mountains. Life is so laid back here and the scenery is spectacular. We have been venturing out and finding great photographic opportunities.
Husband and wife photographers specializing in Georgia nature and places of interest.
We have transitioned from film and wet darkroom to exclusively digital.
We still do Alternative process in our darkroom- Kallitype , Van Dyke Brown and Salt Printing on a small scale.
