As we end this year we’d like to thank everyone who has followed and supported us and our blog. We are honored to be able to share our work with you and appreciate each and everyone who has liked, commented and followed us in this venture.
Today we’re posting another one of Marks’ images taken in Bulow Woods. This was taken in a swamp which usually has about a foot of standing water. The day we were there it was dry.
The base of each of the trees shows where the water level used to be. There’s amazing photographic material in those trees. Exposed roots make for wonderful texture. We could spend days there and not run out of material.
Film used was Ilford FP4 and Marks used the Adox Golf 63 folding camera.
See you all in 2013. We wish you good health (can’t buy that) and happiness (ditto). Wealth would be nice but just enough to support our photographic habit. 🙂
